When I applied for my concealed carry permit, the court clerk asked me if there had been an incident that caused me to want to carry. I explained to her that there had not been one, but I wanted to have the ability to carry if I so chose. I never want to have to use my gun, but I also like to know that it is there if I ever need it. What is that saying, "When seconds count, the police are only minutes away." I want more options at my disposal.
